The cruel reality of it is, the world is crumbling and everybody doesnt have control over their lives. So as a way to gain some level of catharsis, adults take that out on children to feel better about themselves and feel some level of control. A lot of adults and older teens don't want to admit it but they are jealous of children who have nice things and who act like children🤷🏿‍♀️

Bad writing is the only way the Sharma family dynamics will never make sense, but it's weird how Mary gets a free pass but Kate gets called out for not knowing how to parent. Mary was supposed to be the parent but when she emotionally checked out and stopped being the adult years ago, she allowed Kate to take on her family's burdens. That's on Mary for failing two daughters and she even cops to that in a scene with Anthony in ep7 then finally Kate in ep8 but never once with Edwina throughout it all! I have many issues with season 2 changing things for drama's sake including characters turning on a dime with how they feel or act but Mary's character (and Shelly Conn) was butchered in this show. Maybe so badly that people forget she is missing throughout most of it.

J.T death: reverse Finn Hudson (Glee). Actor still alive, but you make the purposeful decision to kill him off in Degrassi universe via drug overdose. Meanwhile, we don't know what Finn died of, but his death/tribute was handled with care and respect for his also dead actor.

Don’t come for me but Toni kinda annoyed me this season (especially at the end) she treated Shelby so so bad and Shelby deserved so much better then Toni, she came for literally everyone for no reason in particular Dot, Fatin and Leah. Like we get it your friends losing her mind but everyone is struggling, Rachel lost her arm and her sister, Leah nearly drowned like 2 times and nearly killed herself (it’s obvious that’s she’s not okay), Fatin, Dot and Shelby r trying to keep the group together while everyone’s losing it. The way she was so rude to Dot when as you said if it wasn’t for her she would be dead. ALSO the way Leah was right all along and now that Shelby and Fatin know it gonna be cool to see them work together!
